Regular group for toddlers and pre-schoolers
Bright Seedlings Forest School group is specifically aimed at children aged 1-5 years. These sessions allow young children to explore freely through unstructured, child-led play, encouraging them to explore physical and emotional boundaries in the world around them, using all their senses, whilst developing their fine and gross motor skills.
Studies have shown that play is crucial in the growth and development of children’s brain, body and intellect. Children acquire knowledge experientially, through play, experimentation and appropriate risk-taking and many fundamental life skills can be most effectively learned through outdoor play.
We run on-going programmes throughout the year. These are bookable in 6 weeks blocks (one 2 – hour session a week) during term times.

Testimonies:
“We are now in our third term of Bright Seedlings sessions and we absolutely love them, so much so, we also came to the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events too! My daughter has flourished at forest school and feels absolutely at ease in the beautiful woodland setting. Her levels of confidence have really grown thanks to the hands-off approach of both staff and parents and she regularly makes new friends. She looks forward to coming each week, telling anyone who will listen what she has been/will be doing! I can thoroughly recommend Bright Woods Forest School.”
