If you are hoping for a fun and memorable birthday party for your child we can offer a wide range exciting of activities to make their day extra special!
Suggested activities include: den building, river-dipping, natural crafts, scavenger hunts and even stepping into your child’s favourite stories. We can also run themed parties such as Pirates’ Lost Treasure, Elves and Fairies, Campfire cooking and Outdoor Minecraft Game.
The type of activity we recommend depends on the your child’s interests, the season, age of your child and the number of guests coming. We would love to have a chat with you to tailor your party to suit your needs.
Parties take place on our beautiful site within Deepdale Nature Reserve, where you will have private use of our woodland and meadow area. The party starts with your child’s chosen activity, followed by time around the seating area to enjoy food provided by you. Parties finish with a campfire and opportunity to toast a marshmallow.
Included in the price is a drink for the children, either cordial or hot chocolate and a tea or coffee for the adults. We will decorate the site with some lovely ‘woodland’ bunting.
All parties are held outside in our woodland and run in most weathers, however in the event of high winds or thunder & lightning the party will be rescheduled or we have an option to move it to an indoor venue nearby. In such case activities will be adapted accordingly.
If it is raining a temporary shelter can be erected where food can be eaten and there is an accessible composting toilet with baby changing facilities.
Children must come supervised. We require a ratio of at least 1 adult to 5 children.
Price:
£200 for up to 12 children and then £10 for any additional child. There might be an additional charge to cover the cost of materials for the special themed parties.
We require a non-refundable deposit of £50 at the time of booking and a full payment at least 5 days before the party.
